How certifications give you best position for success.

Avoid mishaps and costly downtime while meeting customer expectations and achieving customer satisfaction by using BCI’s certified API precision machine and fabrication shops. In addition to ISO 10424, BCI is certified in API 5CT and Q1, the oil and gas industry standards for threading wellhead rotary drill stem components. This quality management system increases productivity, reduces waste and insures the highest standards of quality for our customers.

ISO threading requirements provide instant trace-ability

“ISO 10424 & 10424-2:2007 specifies requirements on rotary shouldered connections for use in petroleum and natural gas industries, including dimensional requirements on threads and thread gauges, stipulations on gauging practice, gauge specifications, as well as instruments and methods for inspection of thread connections. These connections are intended primarily for use in drill-string components. These are traceable to an internationally supported system of gauges and calibration.”

Oilfield Machining. Don't become next BP disaster

Today, front page, Huffington Post and Fox News have released an article outlining criminal charges to be filed on the BP oil spill. Don't let your vendors subject your company to another wellhead catastrophe like Gulf oil spill.

Safety stressed with all employees

Safety is of the highest importance at BCI. The Safety Department tracks and logs lost time hours due to injuries. Goals are set and rewards are given for targets achieved with the results being increased safety awareness and significant decrease in job related accidents. Examples of these ongoing processes are addressing everyday plant issues such as personal safety including safety shoes and eyewear, etc.

Blanchard 60" surface grinder creates less downtine and saves money

Understanding that downtime is the number one enemy to their customer’s successful operation, BCI goes a leg up on competition with the purchase of a 60” Blanchard surface grinder for the Hydraulic Division. Until now, large valve and cylinder repairs required outsourcing for surface grinding, costing valuable downtime and longer lead time on repairs. Under trying and/or difficult circumstances this outsourcing added days to the project.

Proper employee training to meet API and ISO qualifications

BCI incorporates a five step training program for all new employees. After an initial introduction with their immediate supervisor they are carefully trained in HR procedures, Safety, Quality Control and then a detailed on the job training course. (1) The new employee meets with his/her supervisor to discuss the details of the job duties and performance requirements. (2) Meeting with the HR Director, each employee is given a company handbook outlining all facets of the company’s operations.

This growth has positioned BCI as a shop of choice by many industrial and oil & gas companies from the Ark-La-Tex to international ports. Haas TL-4 machining cell

The use of CNC technology has the benefits of increased productivity with no compromise to the high precision and quality of our work.

Three Haas TL-4 CNC horizontal machining centers arranged in a "cell" allows BCI to machine the most difficult jobs, decreasing cycle time and eliminating the possibility for operator error. The three machines (cell) are designed with project specific tools and fixtures that drasticially improce production time and eliminate human error.
